Congrats to you guys. You have earned it! Now go kick some more Big East ass to stick it to the media

    Great win for the Spartans!

Izzo has taken his team 5 times in 11 years to the Final Four.

No other coach in NCAA DIV 1 has that accomplishment.

Heads up y’all: There’s going to be a pep rally at 10 PM at the Brez. Enter through the tunnel.

    Thanks Pete.

Suton may have played his way into the NBA with this tournament. Also, any word on who’s winning the pick 16?

Congratulations. That was an awesome win.

Stick it to UConn and hold on to Izzo!

    Bracket contest update:

    1. Seer 136 (everybody but UConn)
    2. DP99 132 (everybody but UNC)
    3t. Alex 112 (UNC, Villanova)
    3t. Chris 112 (Villanova only)
    5. Mark in Chicago 98 (everybody but UConn)
    6. rook34 97 (everybody but UConn)
    7. Jackson22 96 (UNC, Villanova)
    8. SpartanDan 95 (MSU, UNC)
    9. TMadison25 94 (UNC, Villanova)
    10. gbbound 92 (everybody but UConn)
    11. dougieb 88 (everybody)
    12. spartanproducer 87 (everybody but UConn)
13t. Tommy 84 (everybody but UConn)
13t. Ground Zero East Lansing 84 (MSU, UNC)
    15. Mark in DC 83 (MSU only)
    16. kj 82 (UNC only)
    17. EB 76 (everybody but UConn)
    18. wife of a spartan 74 (everybody but Villanova)
    19. msufan23 73 (MSU, Villanova)
    20. Sparty in Badgerland 72 (everybody but Villanova)
    21. Kurt 71 (MSU, UNC)
    22. Otto 67 (everybody but Villanova)

It’s down to just Seer and DP99 for the win.
Seer wins if MSU beats UConn (regardless of what happens in the other semi or the final) OR UNC beats UConn in the final.
DP99 wins if UConn wins it all OR Villanova beats UConn in the final (this would be a tie, and Seer didn’t put anything in for tiebreaker).

This was the best part, a little bit of Big Ten showing something to the Big East. The Louisville guys were completely unprepared to be down 10 late in the second. They just completely came apart after that.

Goran Suton, words cannot describe right now. After the Sweet 16 game, I was wondering what did he have to do to be CBS’s player of the game. I guess 17 in the first half, plus being the anchor to beat the zone was it! Absolutely great composure throughout for all the guys. Really happy to see Lucious get a chance to get back on his feet in another high pressure game.

    Damn, Detroit, people. DETROIT!!!

That was an epic second half beatdown. Louisville was rattled. They were completely off their game. Congrats, Spartans!

Now, spare us from a Big East representative in the national championship. Would love to see an MSU-UNC rematch than a BE lovefest.

Two keys that I think must be among the all-time performances for an Elite Eight game:

1> During the big second half run, MSU scored on ELEVEN consecutive possessions and on 15 of 17 possessions.

2> In the second half, MSU’s offensive rebounding percentage was 69%.

Watched the ESPN loop 5 consecutive times just to (re)listen to the post- game interviews. Epic performance.
