Giving “pushing the tempo” a whole new meaning

College Fast Break notes that Texas Tech beat Division II team East Central University 167-116 last night. That scoreline is somewhat less impressive when you consider the game featured a whopping 118 possessions for each team.
On the other hand, just getting the ball up and down the court that many times is no small feat: That’s only 10.2 seconds per possession for a full 40 minutes. It’s no wonder that Texas Tech used a 14-man rotation. Since when did Pat Knight decide to implement the old Loyola Marymount offense?

Thanks for mentioning us.
The late Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble would have been proud of Texas Tech last night.
