This last year's team was already a team that took very few three point shots, and with Neitzel leaving, there is basically only Allen who has demonstrated the ability to drain them. It's odd; Izzo teams have always shot well from the outside. the 2000 team had 4 starters who could drain three pointers, and so did the 2005 team. For next year's team to get past the sweet sixteen, I think Suton and Morgan will have to increase their range, and Lucas and Walton will have to be come a more reliable outside shooter. As for Summers, if his shooting improves he will work his way into more minutes, simply because of his ability to get rebounds as well. The key issue for next year’s team will be outside shooting.
