Game previews from a Gopher perspective:
From the Barn says both coaches have their jobs cut out for them: Izzo in getting MSU to play well on the road; Smith in getting the Gophers to bounce back from the disappointment of the loss to IU. He thinks we’ll know within the first five minutes whether the Gophers have come out flat or not.
Paging Jim S. hits the same basic theme on the Gophers bouncing back. He worries the Gophers won’t have an answer to Morgan (31 and 10 in the last game) and picks MSU to win by 5.
Gopher Nation says they’ve gotta guard Morgan and we’ve gotta guard Dan Coleman (who struggled in East Lansing). He likes Minneosta by 4, predicting they’ll keep the rebounding margin close.
